Kawana is recognized for her unique ability to generate and implement breakthrough ideas into strategies that best serve our youth. Her innovative tactics foster meaningful and purposeful relationships by facilitating engagements directly with the community.

She not only works through her personal relationships with the youth, she is a liaison that involves affiliate non-profits that share in the vision. Her vision pictures a forward and progressive push from every non-profit to be specific with their goals, and to establish deliberate intentions consistent with the vision the community has for the youth.

Kawana has long been driven by her passion to address the opportunity bias in low, socioeconomic areas. Her focus is on developing mentorship programs that assist the youth with alternative courses to success in fields including academic and athletic. Kawana continues to expand her capacity of service working with non-profit, academic, and public service organizations keeping the same end goal in mind, improve the quality of life for underserved individuals and under-resourced communities. An analytical approach, and a big picture vision allows her persist in helping clientele design and execute initiatives that are mission-centric, feasible, and measurable.

The R.E.S.E.T program, standing for Reinvigorate, Educate, Strategize, Empower, Team Up, targets high school females in need of guidance whom are navigating through the gender, economic, and social barriers often experienced in the field of sports. Participants can expect to gain a plethora of knowledge and skills to apply in future endeavors. The young women of this program are inspired to inquire, explore, and pursue professional careers within the sports industry.
