Working from within the educational system, Kawana was able to achieve her big break into the world of professional consultation. She pursued one of the most efficient courses to interactive exposure through volunteer work. The summer camps and charity events in which Kawana has participated are innumerable, and she has learned and processed her experiences into an understanding of how this industry works. The volunteer endeavors allowed her to sustain growth in practiced skill sets, evolve in new skills, and paved the way to a promising career in the field.

Kawana believes these organizations deserve due respect and support to accomplish their missions, and so, she loves participating in creative sessions that focus on pitches and brainstorming to enhance the client’s brand which builds a sound relationship with the community. She brings expertise and professional experience in areas of academic advancement, non-profit achievements through fundraising, event management, volunteer coordination, strategic and business planning, secured sponsorships, and organizational development. She has spearheaded numerous initiatives that have attracted collaborators including professional sports teams, professional athletes and their foundations, and neighboring non-profits evincing an incredible impact on the churches and schools of the community.

Kawana’s career has positioned her to actively contribute to various community projects initiated by organizations engaged in philanthropic endeavors. Her network has expanded to included collaborations with esteemed NFL Players such as Tarell Brown, Adrian Hamilton, Michael Crabtree, Von Miller, and involvement with the NFL Draft. She has also fostered connections within the NBA and WNBA, including figures like Josh Howard, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Dallas Wings. Additionally, she works alongside National Pan-Hellenic Council sororities and fraternities, megachurch ministries, and actively participates in school-wide events. Utilizing her unique talents and abilities, Kawana passionately assists these organizations in progressing towards their mission of being a positive force community upliftment.
